How To Make an App Icon For Your Blog

When I'm on my iPhone and I need information, I usually want it at my fingertips...so thus, I decided I needed a quick link to this blog {because I use The Blog Guidebook's tutorials all the time!}. I knew it couldn't be that difficult to make an icon to use, I just needed to know what size and where to put it so that the different platforms could use it.

Of course, I Googled it, just like most questions, and I found some awesome articles that told me just what to do! Here's a few great links I found:

Now remember, this doesn't mean you have an actual app...this is just a cute pic that links to your blog...but, it also means that your readers can put your icon on their home screen!

So this is what I'll be working on today! Do you want a cute app icon for your blog? I want to see it! Let me know what you create and I'll post a few of them when I have mine made.

I'm going to utilize Photoshop Elements and PicMonkey and see what happens!

    1. It's true the appmkr site isn't accepting links anymore, but the information in the article is pretty interesting. Thanks!

Comments are how we stay connected as bloggers. Let us know how you feel and we'll return the favor...stay calm and blog on!!! And guess what? You'll never find Word Verification on our blog...it gets kind of annoying when you can't read what WV wants you to verify right?
