  1. I actually started blogging because of that magazine. I love it. It is a fantastic medium for the age of computer users and the internet.

  2. As a teen, I enjoyed writing -- and found that as an adult, I was being drawn to it again. My sister had a blog, and it seemed like a good creative outlet to me -- so I started one. I love writing, sharing recipes, family stories, and crafts, as well as my (amateur) photography. Thanks for the chance to win! ~Sally

  3. I started blogging due to my daughter's strong support (nagging). She told me to stop sending out almost the same email to 20 family members far away and do a blog and "let them come to you". It's fun, and a creative outlet. I'm not familiar with that magazine. Would love to have it; thanks for the chance.

  5. It was actually because of Pinterest that I got started blogging. There were so many great pins that I found that led me to some WONDERFUL blogs! I started reading those and got the itch to write my own! I'm so glad I started blogging because it gave me renewed sense of motivation just when I needed it most!

  6. Would love to win this magazine as have never seen or heard of it before.

To be honest I had never heard of blogging until a lady editor of a magazine who printed some of my work said I should have a blog so more people could see my creations. It was very scary at first and hadn't a clue how to manage it, but now a couple of years on, I really enjoy it and have made so many online friends. Annette x

  7. I started to share our lives better with family who lives far away. It has now bloomed into something so fun and such a blessing as we learn others stories and follow their adventures too.

  8. I love Artful Blogging - so inspirational - and interesting to see all the different takes on blogs...I started blogging to keep an artist's journal...I wanted to keep a journal for some time - but the paper and pen were never connecting...for some reason, keyboard and camera are better tools for me to record my everyday observations on my artistic life...

  9. I started blogging to share my knitting designs. The blog ventures into writing about the running races I enjoy, my quilting projects, funny stories from my teen girls and faith.

  11. I had a friend who blogged and it just seemed like a fun and creative hobby, so I thought about it for about a year and then jumped in. But I really committed and started enjoying it when I created a blog for my sewing guild!

  15. I love that magazine! It is quite expensive, but worth it for the inspitation! I started blogging on my personal blog, just to record my life and share my experiences, mostly as they relate to having a child with a learning disability. I also have a crafting blog and started it because I love all things creative. It has evolved from just crafting to baking and cooking as well! I love your blog too, it is so helpful to me!

  16. What a great magazine! I started blogging as therapy after my brother was killed by a drunk driver. I needed a place where I could get out of my head and put my grief in a positive direction. It really helped and has been a source of joy for me. :)

  18. I love Artful Blogging!! I started my blog as a sort of online journal of my paintings, drawings, knitting projects etc. but I started interviewing other creative women, and I've been having so much fun learning about and being inspired by the women I meet that it's become the focus for my blog. I just discovered the Blog Guidebook... I'm sure I'll meet more creative women here!
