Photo Interest = Pinterest

Recently we came across a new site aimed at saving and grouping photos one may have found on the internet. It's called Pinterest and right now it is in Beta (see Glossary for details on Beta). But you can still join; you apply and Pinterest sends you an invitation...it's great for photographers, artists, and regular folks like us.

You get the ability to click on a photo and it saves it to your Pinterest "boards", with the url location, so you know where you found it. It's a great tool for blogging. There have to be many saved photos in folders across the planet that the person forgot where it originally came from. It is SO easy to use...the "Pin It" button goes in your navigational bar on your browser...so it's always handy.
Boards can be named and you save the photos where you like. You can create all sorts of boards, such as White Rooms, Things I Love, Designs, Favorite Hair Styles, Aqua, Travel Pics, and on and on. There are tons of categories to search too.

Pinterest also has a fun blog you can read up on popular Pinners.

  1. That is really cool! I love the way blogs look when people post pictures in this mode. I will certainly have to try it.

Comments are how we stay connected as bloggers. Let us know how you feel and we'll return the favor...stay calm and blog on!!! And guess what? You'll never find Word Verification on our blog...it gets kind of annoying when you can't read what WV wants you to verify right?
