Reviewing Code It Pretty - How To Place a Pinterest Gadget On Your Blogger Blog

A Review of A Really Cool Gadget!

Last week I mentioned the wonderful blog, Code It Pretty. If you haven't checked it out then you are waaaaaayyyyy behind in Blogland. Code It Pretty's Marie wrote an awesome tutorial that will show you how to add a Pinterest gadget to show off your recent pins (with images) in a very cute format. You can place the gadget in a post, in your sidebar, or anywhere else a gadget will go.

I have to say it was very easy...Marie has this tutorial listed as a Brave Beginner level...and yes, you have to be a little bit brave. Honestly, you can't really hurt anything in your blog with this simple HTML/Java Script Gadget. You don't have to go into your template or anything scary like that.

All you have to do is copy the code Marie has written, edit it slightly by adding your personal Pinterest info, and then tweak the sizes of the boxes to fit your blog perfectly. It took me about 10 minutes to get it to look how I wanted. You can check out how I used the code and tutorial to show off my Latest Pins at my personal blog Different Dog. I hope you'll take a minute to check it out. It is located just beneath the banner and above the posting area.

If you have any problems using this tutorial I'd be happy to help you in anyway I can! Click the image above to jump over to the tutorial right away! Enjoy!

Comments are how we stay connected as bloggers. Let us know how you feel and we'll return the favor...stay calm and blog on!!! And guess what? You'll never find Word Verification on our blog...it gets kind of annoying when you can't read what WV wants you to verify right?
