With summer coming to a close for many of you, I thought it would be nice to post a few back to school essentials...enjoy!

Lead the way to school each day on your own snazzy two wheeler! Bobbin Bicycles

Be the ultimate mom in your child's eyes by making them their own one of a kind backpack! Just Google search for backpack patterns...ruffles, spikes, drawstring etc. The mommy and me lady bug styles from Sew Spoiled above are super cute and only $8 for the pattern!

 

Plan a special back to school party and celebrate the end of summer with cute printables like these from nick will jack.

Set up an adorable background to take commemorative back to school 2012 photos like this vintage one from Martha Stewart's Dreamers into Doers.

Other things to think about:

Start a scrapbook for your child's school year - it's fun to look back and see how they've grown - and they'll love it!

Lunch menus for the best brown bagging - there are tons of menu plans out there...make lunch the night before.

Planning outfits - take photos of your child in the outfits and tape to their closet so they know what to wear!

Be ready to sign up for class parties and field trips...so take your calendar or planner with you to meet the teacher...(yikes!). 

Don't forget mom and dad want to look good early in the morning too...plan your look for fall before you realize there's nothing in the closet. What do you wear for drop off and pick up?
