A Linky Party Is:

What is it?

Link Party is by no means a technical term...you may have heard of it as a Blog Party, Blog Hop, Linky (Tools) Party etc. But it is definitely a party!!!
1. Parties are usually hosted on the blog that has created the party.
2. There can be a theme, or not.
3. To join in all you have to do is add your blog and your name and you're a part of the party.
4. It's nice if you hop around to the other gals (and guys) that have joined
5. Leave comments there and/or become a follower.

It's a lot of fun to share what you've been up to: create an awesome table-scape, show photos of your garden and veggies, try Wordless Wednesdays with only a picture, or join a nationwide tea party!
What a great way for the blogging community to get to know each other, gather readers, followers and friends.

    1. Joy, I'm sorry I'm just getting back to you...you would link your blog in one of our categories or someone else's linky. You do it from the blog that is hosting the linky...do you still need help? Let us know!

  8. @ Sarah @ The Blog Guidebook- Thanks so much for this post! I've been working hard for the past three years to develop great content and start monetizing. I've also gained some great gal pal bloggers, but would like to start participating more in Linky parties (and hosting them as well!). I'm still a little bit at a loss as to how to join, because it seems the way bloggers are doing it now is a bit more sophisticated (i.e. link up to a specific location on our blog [without explaining where], Pinterest parties, etc.

If you can post where you might have explained this further, or give us a little more info. on these new developments...that would be fab. Thanks soooo much!

  14. Well, it's good to see I'm not alone! Glad to have stumbled upon this information. I appreciate that bloggers like you two ladies have taken the time to put it out there. :)

My blog is also a company blog, but I spend days researching the topics just to ensure our quality, and I honestly believe our blogs could be super helpful to the right people... if only more people KNEW we had all this content for them. I'm really hoping that these link parties will help us reach a larger audience.

Comments are how we stay connected as bloggers. Let us know how you feel and we'll return the favor...stay calm and blog on!!! And guess what? You'll never find Word Verification on our blog...it gets kind of annoying when you can't read what WV wants you to verify right?
